Mark Stewart

Chairman

Masthead

Mark is head of the Stewart family investment vehicle, Masthead Limited, an active corporate investor in New Zealand public and private equity markets and the major shareholder in Florenz. 

Mark has been a Director of several publicly-listed companies as well as Chairman of TAB NZ and the Antarctic Heritage Trust.  He has more than four decades of international commercial experience, primarily building successful export companies. 

Mark was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Commerce by his alma mater the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he earned the degree of Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Business Administration.  He has served as Honorary Consul for Malaysia and received a PJN (Distinguished Order of Meritorious Service) honour from Malaysia bestowing him the title of Datuk, the equivalent of a knighthood from the Malaysian King, for outstanding service to the country. 

Mike Tod

Group Chief Executive Officer

Mike Tod is Group Chief Executive Officer of Florenz.

Mike is the former Chief Executive Officer of TAB NZ and has held senior roles with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Air New Zealand, Fonterra and TVNZ.  He is a former member of MasterCard's Asia Pacific Advisory Board and is a Director of Queenstown Airport where he Chairs the Safety Operations and Risk Committee.

Mike has lead teams across many global markets, including Asia/Pacific, North America, South America and Europe.  He is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme as well as the university's Sustainability Leadership Programme and MIT's programme in Artificial Intelligence in BioHealth and Pharma.  Mike has also completed programmes in conjunction with Oxford University and the University of Virginia's Darden Business School. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. 

Mark Sadd

Mark has had extensive financial; commercial and governance experience having held senior executive roles with various New Zealand companies spanning both the private and public sectors. These Executive roles have included being Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer for NZX list company Comvita.

Mark brings a strong focus on strategy execution, profit optimisation, business development and strategic acquisitions. As Chief Commercial Officer he is responsible for ensuring sound financial decision-making support that enables Florenz to execute on its global growth strategy. Mark represents Florenz on the Board of investee companies, which includes being Chair of Harker Herbals. Mark holds a BCom, Postgraduate Diploma in Business and is a graduate of Stanford University’s business school program in leadership. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Rebecca Remley

Chief Executive Officer

Wedderspoon Organic

Rebecca has been instrumental in developing the Manuka Honey category in the United States. Her stewardship of the brand reflects Wedderspoon’s unique founding ethos of bringing ethical, non-GMO and raw Manuka food, supplement & body care products to consumers around the world.  Rebecca has lead Wedderspoon since 2015 and has a deep experience across a variety of consumer facing companies in the United States. She holds an MBA from the University of Denver.

Kate Howard

Acting CEO

Xtend-life

Kate is acting Chief Executive Officer of Xtend-Life.  She joined the international vitamins and supplements export company in 2017 as Head of Finance.  She has previously held roles in the Europe/Middle East/Africa headquarters in Amsterdam of a US-based medical equipment company and at EY in New Zealand.  Kate has a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University in New Zealand.

Leah Davey

Chief Business Officer

Leah has a deep experience in Food Technology, Nutrition and Consumer Health and has worked across Asian, European and North American markets.

She is a former Board member of the Australian Complementary Medicines Association (CMA) and former General Manager of DSM Oceania for Human Nutrition.

Leah is a recipient of the New Zealand Government's prestigious Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment award that saw her attend the Stanford University Executive Leadership Programme in the United States in 2018. She currently serves as a New Zealand Government appointed Ministerial Justice of the Peace. Leah has a Bachelor of Technology (Food).
